What : The World of Image - The major focus of this exhibition are figure (self-portrait, family) and landscape (winter sea). I will show self-portraits which date back to 1983 and the Winter Sea Works which are my recent major focus. Diverse works from other artists (both domestic and overseas) which focus on me will also be shown.

When I published my art-book in 2010, I said, "Painting is a travel of soul" to Canadian Artist David Macri. This exhibition displays how my mind has changed on art through the last 30 years and how I appear to other artists...                                                                 February 2014

제목 : 심상(心像)의 세계

주제/소재 : 인물(자화상, 가족), 풍경(겨울바다), 회화(유화/아크릴화/수채화/연필화 등) 및 입체(조각/부조) 총 26점

내용 : 자화상을 처음 그린 1983년 작품부터 최근 내 작품의 주된 관심사인 겨울바다 그림이 전시된다. 또한 본인을 주인공으로 한 다양한 장르의 국내외 작가작품도 함께 전시된다. 2010년 작품집을 발간할 때 데이비드 맥리(캐나다 작가)에게 “그림은 영혼의 여행” 이라고 말한적이 있다. 30여년의 세월 속에서 내 마음 즉, 심상의 세계가 어떻게 변해왔고 다른 작가에겐 어떻게 비쳤을까...              2014,2월
