자카란다 향과 함께 향기로운 봄바람~~
호주 도착 이틀째, 계속 현장 작업은 진행된다.
황홀한 자카란다 보라 빛에 취해 꿈결 같은 봄날 브리즈번 퀸즈랜드 대학교 에서 작년에 이어서 두 번째 방문이다.
호주! 이젠 많은 것들이 익숙하다.
새 학기를 맞이하는 설레는 마음처럼 호주의 봄을 황홀한 자카란다 빛으로 캔버스를 물들이고 있다. 호주에서 개인전을 준비하고 워크샵을 앞둔 이곳은 무릉도원 같은 봄이다!!!

Sweet Spring breath of wind of Jacaranda on my canvas in UQ, Brisbane, QLD
It was the second day in Australia and I am painting all day. Here, it is in Spring. The weather and temperature is perfect to paint outside.
I will stay in Brisbane for two weeks and then move to Gold Coast and Tambourine mountain to catch the vibrant Spring.

Spring season is upon us and so are the Jacarandas.
Amidst your busy routine at #UQ, if you happen to come across Mr. Kim a.k.a ChangHan Kim, don't forget to take a moment to appreciate him and his artwork
During a conversation he told me that nature and portraiture paintings are his favorite. He is from Korea and travels around the world following his passion of freezing moments on canvas with his colours and paint brushes. However, he makes sure that he has 40 days of spring planned for Australia especially at #UniversityOfQueensland to paint the purple jacarandas
He is soon going to put up his exhibition of Jacaranda paintings at Goldcoast.

원초적 자연의 생명력이 살아숨쉬는 템버린 마운틴에서 2020년 10월 불타는 내 열정을 태운다! 수백 년 된 나무들, 수천 년 생명의 숨결이 남아있는 이곳에서 예술의 깊이와 영원한 자유로움을 꿈꾼다.
It was very thrilled with my art in the deep mountain. Definitely, here is my next major art adventure in a primitive bush in Tamborine Mount in Australia.

A farm of Abocado
A beautiful meeting with a farmer in Mount Tamborine where is an organic vegetables and the great Abocado trees.
I got strong impression not only the wild nature but also his spirit of the life. Definitely here is my next art on my canvas. I appreciate his great invitation to his farm and staying for painting.
아보카도 농장
이곳 호주에서 매일 그림 그리면서 많은 호주인들과 새로운 인연들이 이어졌는데 그중 우연히 만난 농부와의 만남은 앞으로의 작품 활동에 많은 도움이 될 것이다.
처음 만날 때 부터 서로에게 깊은 인상을 주고받았고 서로의 마음을 열 수 있었던 것은 순수하고 건강하고 아름다운 삶에 대한 강한 의지와 실천이었다.
완전 유기농 즉 자연그대로의 삶을 실천하고 그런 농산물을 판매하는 것과 내 작품에서는 순수하고 원초적이면서 건강한 자연 본래의 모습과 삶의 의지를 담고자하는 것이다.
굿바이 호주
2019 호주에서 43일 동안 많은 추억을 안고 한국으로 돌아왔다.
총 26 작품을 그렸다. 대부분 신작이고 일부는 업데이트 한 그림이다.
3년 연속방문이지만 보람된 시간이었고 2020년엔 더 많은 작품 활동을 하기로 했다.
호주는 여러 부분에서 내 취향과 성격에 잘 어울린다.
2005년 처음 호주 방문도 우연히 이뤄졌고, 이후 수년간 매우 활발하게 그곳과 교류하면서 많은 성과를 이루었지만 2017년 다시 방문하기까지 10년의 공백기가 있었다.
그동안 호주는 많은 것이 변했다. 다시 그곳에서 작품 활동을 하고 구체적인 성과를 이뤄 나가기란 결코 만만하지 않다는 것을 깨달았다. 그동안 호주는 변화의 소용돌이 속에서 미술계는 어려운 시기를 보내고 있다. 많은 갤러리들이 사라졌고 일부 갤러리가 새로 생겼다.
어쨌든 2017년 잊혀져가던 호주를 다시 가게 된 인연도 우연히 내 그림에 반해 한국까지 찾아온 호주인에 의해 꺼지던 불씨를 피운 것처럼 앞으로 호주에서의 작품 활동은 아름다운 호주인들과 더욱 흥미진지하게 진행될 것이다.
2020년 꽃피는 봄(한국과는 반대 계절) 다시 그곳을 찾아가겠지만 골드코스트와 템버린 마운틴에 있는 두 갤러리에서는 계속 내 작품을 전시하면서 나를 알릴 것이다.

My time for43 days were not short but time passed quickly in Australia this year.
There are lots of things that I did and review.
Most of all, it was very good Plein Air Painting in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Tamborine Mount. I have painted total 26 paintings.
Most works are new and some of paintings are updated.
This year, I made many new friends who love art. So my next visiting will be more exciting and smooth. There are many attractive vibrant things in Australia. So my World Art Journey in Australia is getting bigger.
Finally, my works will be exhibit continuously at the two galleries in Australia. Have a look for more details in the following.
And welcome to enjoy the true ‘Vital Fantasy’ series. See you again in the blooming season in Australia, 2020.
