At the fountain before and now, 2010
분수대, 8년 전과 지금
This is the Sculpture Fountain in the Indiana University.
Unfortunately one of the fish sculpture were stolen these days.
It reminds me the art works in 2002.
아래 조각분수대는 인디애너 대학교에 있다.
안타깝게도 앞에 있는 물고기 조각상을 최근 도둑맞았습니다.
8년 전 2002년과 2010년.
In the Art Center 아트센터에서
The building (before City Hall) was built in 1915.
Now this building is using for the Art Center so the City Hall moved another place.
본 건물은 이전에 시청 건물이었는데 1915년 세워졌습니다.
당시엔 세금을 시청 금고에 보관했는데 현재 한 금고를 전시장으로 활용하고 있습니다. 이번에 열린 개인전도 이곳에서 펼쳐졌다.
The Art Museum in IU
인디애너대학교 미술관
This Art Museum is in the Indiana University.
Their world collections are amazing.
To my sorrow the Korean collections were very mere.
이곳은 인디애너 대학교의 미술관인데 콜렉션의 규모가 방대하다.
아쉽게도 한국미술에 대한 콜렉션은 초라하다.
The artist before and now 2010-08, 8년 전과 지금
I met the artist in 2002, see the photos which I took at that time.
Time flies~~~
화가 Brett을 만난 것은 2002년 이었다. 당시 찍은 사진을 비교하면서 세월의 빠름을 실감한다.
개일전 기간 중 그의 딸과 함께 반가운 시간을 가졌다.
The old and new friends 오랜 친구와 새 친구
It was a great meeting with Daniel and his parents in the USA again.
It reminds me another time in 2002.
The Art center director was liked my art very much.
오랜 미국 친구 다니엘과 그의 부모님을 다시 미국에서 만난 것은 특별했다.
2002년 처음 미국을 방문했을 때 모습과 비교된다.
이곳 미술센터의 관장은 내 그림에 관심이 많았다.
Walking in Nashville gallery street
Nashville is a very small town of the Brown County but famous tourist place.
I had a strong impression of the good arranged tourist informations such as the brochure and catalogue in many places in America.
Especially the guide things of the Art was very good.
It was supported by the city council.
네쉬빌 갤러리 산책
네쉬빌은 브라운 카운티 지역의 매우 작은 마을이지만 관광지로 유명하다.
미국에서 매우 강한 인상을 받은 곳은 가는 곳마다 지역의 관광안내가 매우 잘 정리되었다.
특히 미술에 관한 안내 책자/엽서가 매우 잘 소개되고 있었습니다.
이러한 것은 시에서 지원해주는 것이라 했다.
In NY - The teacher
This is the Asian American Martial Arts.
The man is the teacher of the Gym.
He is a famous man. This is a very special to the physical, spirit and soul.
He accommodated my staying in New York for one week.
He and his wife were so generous to me.
I can't forget the great experience with them.
쿵푸지도자
이것은 쿵푸를 하면서 기 치료를 하는 곳이다.
이분이 이곳의 지도자이다.
미국은 물론 해외에서도 알려진 분이다.
일주일간 뉴욕에 머무는 동안 이분의 집에서 홈스테이를 했는데 매우 친절하게 대해 주었다. 이분과의 인연은 우연히 서울에서 내게 남내문 시장주변에서 길을 물어왔을 때 안내해준 것이 전부였다.
