2005년 8월 호주 주 정부초청으로 현지에서 개인전을 할 때 가장 먼저 내 작품을 소장했던 분은 뉴질랜드 출신(호주국적) 조각가 '저드슨'이다. 당시 그의 집을 방문했을 때 멋지게 액자에 담아 거실벽면을 우아하게 장식했다. 2025년 바론베이에 있는 그의 집을 다시 방문했을 때 그의 침실엔 나의 잠자리시리즈 작품들이 여러점 전시되어 있었다. 20년이 지나도 변함없이 내 그림을 아끼고 사랑하는 전드슨과 케이트가 고맙게 느껴진다. 본인도 그들의 작품을 집안 거실에 두고 늘 가까이 볼 수 있도록 전시했다. 서로의 소중한 것들을 함께 나누면서 좋은 친구관계를 유지하고 있다. The first person to have my work was "Judson," a New Zealand (Australian national) sculptor, when he held a solo exhibition there at the Australian state government invitation in August 2005. When I visited his house at the time, he decorated the living room wall gracefully with a nice frame. When I visited his house in Baron Bay again in 2025, several of my dragonfly series pieces were displayed in his bedroom. I feel grateful for Jundson and Kate, who continue to cherish and love my paintings even after 20 years. I put their work in the living room of my house and displayed it so that I could always see it closely. We maintain a good friendship by sharing each other's precious things together. |
