홈페이지 소개
2001오픈 후 그동안 몇차례 개편했고, 이번에 5년 만에 다시 전체적으로 개편했다.

1, 홈페이지 개요
홈페이지는 9가지 메인메뉴로 구성되는데, 그중 그림은 7가지이다.
주제/소재 별로 총 1,409개 작품이 실려 있다.

심상 1996~2020, 197 작품
꽃 1993~2020, 136 작품
매화 2003~2020, 201 작품
사과 1994~2020, 136 작품
바다 2011~2020, 190 작품
해외 2002~2019, 255 작품

2, 홈페이지 목적
처음 홈페이지를 만든 것은 온라인상의 개인 작업실 겸 연구실이 필요했다.
이후 본인 그림에 관심있는 사람들과 소통의 장場으로 활성화 되었다.
물론 지금도 홈페이지를 통한 연구실과 대중과의 소통은 중요하다.
그리고 23년간 몸담았던 예술고등학교 미술교사 정년을 8년반 남기고 작품활동에만 전념하기 위해 일찍 명퇴 후 작품활동 만으로 생계를 꾸려야하기에 홈페이지를 통해 국내/해외로 작품홍보와 판매도 중요하다.

3, 홈페이지 특색
첫째, 작품활동 전체를 한눈에 쉽고 간단히 볼 수 있다.
- 주제/연도/작품크기/활동별로 최소한의 클릭만으로 볼 수 있다.
- 이미 판매한 작품과 본인 소유로 판매/임대가 가능한 작품을 썸네일 형식의 작품목록을 한눈에 구분할 수 있게 했다. 작품목록 검정색은 판매가 가능하고 흰색을 불가능하다.
- 썸네일 형식의 작품리스트는 작품 크기별 3단계로 구분했다.
- 컴퓨터뿐만 아니라 스마트 폰으로도 감상할 수 있다.

둘째, 텍스트(글)의 기록을 입체적인 이해가 되도록 했다.
프로필/Biography의 경우 특징적인 전시는 포토앨범을 만들었고, 해당 갤러리 홈페이지를 링크했다.

세째, 내 작품이 소장된 곳을 포토앨범으로 만들어 생활공간에서 어떻게 전시되고 함께 호흡하고 있는지 다양한 곳의 실제 전시된 모습을 담았다.

네째, 3개월 이상 진행된 개편작업 중 가장 많은 시간이 소요된 것은 해외 작품활동을 정리하는 것이었다. 2002~2019년까지 10개 국가를 26차례 방문하면서 현지에서 그렸던 255개 작품과 활동을 56개 페이지로 나누어 수천개의 관련 자료를 정리하는 것이 쉽지 않았지만 이젠 언제어디서든 한 눈에 볼 수 있고, 이것을 바탕으로 앞으로 더욱 폭넓고 깊이 있는 작품활동에 큰 도움이 된다.
모든 자료는 상업적인 목적이 아니면 전 세계 누구든지 자유롭게 홈페이지를 즐길 수 있다.

4, 앞으로의 계획
대부분의 작품 활동은 이곳 홈페이지에 공개하겠지만, 일일이 메인메뉴에 곧바로 업테이트 하는 건 어렵다. 대신 메인메뉴 ‘Forum포럼’ 게시판엔 쉽게 올릴 수 있고, 다양한 SNS를 통해 자주 공개할 것이다. 궁극적으로 모든 것은 이곳 홈페이지에서 최종 정리된다.
아직 마무리 못한 것은. 해외에서 보내올 글과 내 작품을 소장하고 계신 국내외 소장자의 생활공간에 내 그림이 전시된 모습을 업테이트 해야한다. 시간이 걸리겠지만 계속 진행될 것이다.

끝으로, 인터넷이 시작된 후 지금까지 수많은 국내/해외 미술관련 홈페이지를 보았는데 가장 큰 감동을 받은 것은 독일출신 ‘게르하르드 리히터’ 홈페이지다.

방대한 자료를 매우 체계적이고 다양한 방식으로 정돈해서 작품세계 전체를 공개한 것은 큰 교훈이 된다.
현재 그의 작품은 보통 수십억에서 수백억원에 거래되고, 그의 작품은 전세계 유수 미술관과 갤러리에서 끊임없이 열린다. 그에 대한 언론보도 중 지금도 잊지 않는 것은 수십년의 세월동안 동시대에 성공한 수많은 작가들이 한 시대를 풍미하고 엄청난 돈을 벌었지만 흔적도 없이 사라지는 경우가 많은데, 그는 어떠한 시대적 어려움 속에서도 안정적으로 작품이 발전하면서 작품가격도 꾸준히 올라가고 있는 작가로 손꼽힌다는 최근 기사를 보았다.
그의 홈페이지를 보면 세상 누구도 그의 작품세계의 깊이와 작품가격에 의문을 가질 수 없을 거라고 생각한다. 한 작가의 예술세계에 대한 신뢰와 작품세계의 깊이를 짧은 세월 혹은 단편적인 성공만으로는 예술적 가치를 얼마나 제대로 말할 수 있을까?
물론 세상엔 예외적인 경우도 있겠지만 보편적이고 상식적인 기준에서 말하고 싶다.

나는 앞으로도 내 홈페이지를 통해 나의 작품과 작품활동의 깊이와 신뢰를 계속 쌓아가도록 최선을 다할 것이다. 늘 함께 해주신 분들께 감사의 인사를 드리면서...

* 작품숫자: 정확한 작품수를 계산하는데 어려움이 있다. 예를 들면 연작인 경우, 100호F 사이즈 10점이 연결된 ‘한여름 밤의 축제-해운대 달밤의 서핑’을 한 작품으로 볼지 10개 작품으로 볼지 보는 각도에 따라 다르게 계산될 수 있다. 또 작은 그림과 큰 그림을 같은 개념으로 계산하는 것도 무리가 있다. 어쨌든 미술대학 졸업 후 1987년부터 현재까지 대부분의 작품을 홈페이지에 실었다. 아쉽지만 약 30점 더 있었지만 자료확보가 되지 않았거나 공개하기 어려운 것은 빠졌다.

Hello, Let me introduce my website.

01 - The overview of the website
The website consists of 9 themes, seven of them are paintings.
According to the subject and material, there are total 1,409 paintings.

02 -The purpose of the website
The first purpose of the website was to use it as a personal online work space/laboratory. Further, it is a space where I can communicate with people who are interested in my Art.
In now days, since I've retired early from the full time art teacher of the high school, the website is an important place where I can develop and sell my paintings throughout the whole world.

03 - The feature of the website
A, it‘s easy to see my whole artwork.
- By clicking themes/year/size/activity, everyone can see my work easily.
- It’s easy to distinguish which works are available or not. Each work has it’s own code number, right bellow the picture. Pictures that are labeled in black are available but those are labeled in white are already taken.
- It is also accessible in mobile phone.

B, I've added more pictures and links. For example, in Biography, I posted a photo album and links the gallery to make it easy to understand the exhibition.

C, I've made a photo album of the places where my paintings are collected, so it is possible to see how it communicates with the people and place where it is exhibited.

D, While reorganizing the website during three months, I've spent many times organizing works from abroad. It was very hard to organize 255 paintings and thousands of datas, made while visiting 10 countries 26 times, from 2002 to 2019, in to 56 pages.
But thanks to that, I can easily access to decades of my works anytime and anywhere. It is also helpful to deepen and broaden my further artwork.
Everybody can enjoy most of the data freely except for commercial use.
In that case should get a permission from me.

04 - Future plan
Most of my works will be uploaded here but it is hard to upload it on the main menu everytime. So I will constantly upload it in "Forum" and my SNS but eventually all of them will be uploaded to this website.
I need some more time to organize another data of my works from the collectors abroad, but I will keep it updated.

* Numbers of paintings : It‘s difficult to measure exact number of paintings.
For example, it‘s hard to tell whether many canvases in single series are one or many. There are 10 canvases in ‘Surfing in the moonlight, Haeundae (Festival of the Summer night),’ series but it is possible to see it as one.
Further more, it is also hard to count small size paintings as same as big paintings. Anyway I posted every paintings I've drawn, since I've graduated the college of fine art, except about 30 paintings that I couldn't get or hard to open.
